Yvette Van Veen is the owner of Awesome Dogs and a Certified Animal Behaviour Consultant (C.A.B.C.).  She has created and worked with rescue groups to create early puppy programs, and foster care rehab programs.  A popular freelance columnist her writing appears regularly in The Londoner.  As a dog writer, her dog training advice has been featured throughout North America and as far away as Poland and New Zealand.  She is often featured in newspapers, magazines, radio shows and television on a wide range of pet related topics. 

Yvette’s philosophy is give common sense dog training using humane methods.  She uses up to date, scientific dog research and encourages people to ask industry professionals to, “Show me the study!”
